Volunteer Job Descriptions:
Construction - Working before and during the week of the pageant in the assembling of the set.
Pageant Choir - Singing on or off stage. This will require rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and special rehearsals TBA.
Publicity - Assist this committee in all areas of advertising (posters, billboards, radio, TV, etc.).
Lighting - Working the week of pageant to assist in hanging and focusing the lights.
Banquet - Assist with the preparation and decorating of the Celebration Banquet.
Costumes/Sewing - Sewing the costumes and assigning costumes to cast members.
Ushers - During the pageant the ushers help with seating and distribute programs at the RiverPark.
Painting - Help with all the painting of props and set (no experience necessary)!
Drama - Speaking and non- speaking parts. Audition times will be announced.
Special Effects - Assisting with the fog machine and any other backstage items.
Makeup - Helping all cast in the applying of their makeup. Some training will be provided.
Sound - Work on setting up all sound reinforcement equipment.
Childcare - Assistance will be needed during all rehearsals and during the actual performance.
Animals - Feeding and caring for animals and assisting with each performance.
Evangelism - Work together on strategies for the evangelistic efforts of the pageant ministry.
Backstage - Helping to coordinate placement of set pieces, props and occasionally a wandering actor.
Wigs and Beards - Helping adhere the wigs and beards...it's really a lot of fun!
Food Services - Providing meals during special rehearsals.
Spiritual Emphasis - Coordinate various special times of prayer for the pageant.
Set up/Take down - Unload the semi-trailers and assist in some of the set up and the tearing down of the stage.
Props - Creating props for various scenes and making sure the actors have the props they need and that they don't eat the fruit.
Follow Up - After the pageant we will contact those who make decisions for Christ.
